‘BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang’ Hits 18.4 Million Viewers on Netflix
K-pop sensation BTS‘ live concert special reached 18.4 million viewers on Netflix.
Provided by Netflix, that statistic accounts for viewers who tuned into “BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang” during the initial livestream plus those who watched it over the course of the next day. The special, recorded at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, South Korea, was among the 10 most-watched Netflix titles of the week in 80 countries, and was No. 1 in 24 countries.

The success of “BTS The Comeback Live: Arirang” doesn’t come as a surprise. BTS — comprised of RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook — was a massive global sensation before going on hiatus nearly four years ago, and the concert special marked their first public reunion. “Arirang,” the group’s new album, reached 110 million Spotify streams in its first day, doubling Harry Styles’ “Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally” to achieve the No. 1 debut of 2026 thus far. Netflix boasts that “BTS The Comeback Live” garnered 2.6 billion impressions on its social media channels, setting up the streamer’s upcoming documentary “BTS: The Return” for success.
