Variety Interview Studio Presented by Google TV Returns to San Diego
Variety’s Interview Studio will return to San Diego on July 24-25 in partnership with Google TV featuring a lineup of in-depth interviews and conversations with leading talent and creators.
“This event has become a defining fixture of the entertainment industry, uniting the creative community, talent, and fans in a celebration of storytelling and culture,” said Dea Lawrence, co-president and publisher, Variety. “We’re delighted to once again partner with Google TV and Nintendo to create an unforgettable experience that brings super-fans together.”
This year’s conversations will include the following:

The Interview Studio Lounge will host an exclusive Nintendo gaming activation where talent and cast members can face off in friendly matches of “Nintendo Switch Sports Resort” on the Nintendo Switch 2 system. This first-look experience will give guests access to the game ahead of its official release, creating organic opportunities for social content, cast interaction, and lighthearted competition with The Rizzler. The “Splatoon Raiders” game will also be available to play.
